Top Places to Buy a Computer

Looking to buy a computer? There are plenty of great places to
purchase a computer and each has its own positives and
negatives. Buying a computer can be easy if you know where to
shop. Here are some tips on buying a great computer.

If you are familiar to computers and know what you want, then
you should try Dell out. Dell sells computer only online. They
offer great service and great prices on some of the best home
desktops, laptop computers and business computers. They are very
inexpensive and you can customize your computer with a whole
list of components or accessories. The only down side is that
you can’t touch the computer or try it out. Because you have to
order the computer online, you don’t use the finish product
until you buy it.

Best Buy and Circuit City. These large electronics stores carry
lots of desktops and laptop computers. However, they don’t
really sell computers for large office use. You can try out the
computers plus they offer good warranties if there are problems.
There are some computer components that you may be able to
upgrade on but what you see is usually what you get.

CompUSA. CompUSA sells many types of computers for home and
business. You are able to see how the computer works before you
buy it and their prices are reasonable. You will also be able to
install different components into the computers you buy for an
additional fee by their installation staff. While CompUSA has a
good reputation, there have been times when people have not been
satisfied with their customer service and warranty. So if you
want to buy a great computer, do your homework and check out one
of the great places to buy one.

Internet Faxing

Internet Fax

Many people love the convenience of faxing letters and documents
as well as receiving faxes. However for small home businesses
that may receive only a few faxes a month, it might not be cost
effective to purchase a stand alone fax machine. Not only do you
have to lay out money for the fax machine but also have to pay
for and maintain the fax cartridge, fax paper and possibly a
separate phone line. If you would like the convenience of a fax
machine without the expense, here is a great way to have both -
internet fax.

Internet fax has been around for a while, but has lost
popularity once fax machines became so inexpensive. However
internet fax still makes sense for plenty of people that do not
receive enough faxes per month to warrant a stand alone fax
machine.

All you need for an internet fax is a computer, a dial up
connection or broad band connection to the internet and internet
fax software. The good news is that most document programs such
as MS word will allow you to send a document right from the
application and MS Windows has capabilities to send and receive
faxes directly from your computer. If you want to get fancy you
can purchase a separate internet fax software program that has
all the bells and whistles. There are even internet services
that will give you a separate fax number that people can call
and deliver a fax to. This is great for people who do not have a
phone land line. These services usually charge a small monthly
fee but are extremely convenient. So if you want to have fax
capabilities try one of the above internet fax options.
